Your Questions About Recipe For Disaster

Sharon asks…
What is the perfect recipe for disaster?
I have tried looking everywhere, even my late nannies old Fanny Craddock cook books but to no avail. I’m sure its bound to include custard and dynamite and I dare say a splash or two of gin, but what else would it have. I can’t turn up at the vicar’s tea party empty handed.

Mr. Rotter, my dear; Simplicity is always best. “Flashy and glitz” are so common. It’s always reserved for the lower class. The vicar’s tea party is worthy of nothing less than champagne cut with cough syrup. It’s a well known aphrodisiac, effective on the most inhibited of ladies. Make sure the vicar’s wife gets two servings.

Bill Johnson answers:
To defeat the monsters and the Culinaromancer with out much chance of failing:
85 or higher combat level / 70 or higher ranged / 59 mage
a lower stat variation is given at the end with advice to think about when deciding your stats.
The Monster called Gelatinnoth Mother right before the final battle with the Culinaromancer; will change colors to indicate what she is weak against during the fight; exactly like the Dagganoth from the Horror from the Deep quest. I suggest doing the very short Horror from the deep quest to get a perfect idea how this fight works ahead of time for the battle with her. Here are the colors and what they mean.
1. White ~ weak to air spells
2. Blue ~ weak to water spells
3. Orange ~ weak to melee
4. Brown ~ weak to earth spells
5. Red ~ weak to fire spells
6. Green ~ weak to range
If you use an attack that does not match the color code you will do zero damage on her. So switch attack appropriately.
Since 4 of her weakness relate to a elemental magic spell a high magic level will kill her faster.
The following are the 4 elemental spells and the level required to cast:
Strike spells: lowest elemental damage spell; to cast all 4 elemental strike spells level 13 magic is required.
Bolt spells: To cast all 4 elemental bolt spells level 35 magic is required.
Blast spells: To cast all 4 elemental blast spells level 59 magic is required.
Wave spells: the most powerful elemental spell; to cast all 4 elemental wave spells level 79 magic is required.
Bear in mind the Gelatinnoth Mother has 275 hp’s but if not timed correctly or not all attack styles used can be a long difficult fight; since she is the hardest monster in this quest.
The 70 plus ranged level is great to use on all the other monsters and the Culinaromancer since 70 ranged does a good amount of damage very quickly using the rapid attack style.
So to defeat all of them with ease 85 plus combat/70 plus range/79 mage. Of course this is some what over kill you will not fail with these stats used properly. I do think you can get by with a minimum of 80 combat/50 range/and 35 mage but it wont be an easy fight and you could very easily lose valuable items if you die..note also range equipment is cheap to replace if you lose it. On the bright side you can bank after each monster leading up to the Culinaromancer. Another option is if you want to fore go using range all together since its only one of the forms of the mother beast. Then suggested stats are 85 plus combat/ and 59 mage.
